Be evil to me!

In a sense, this is part two of our Fantasy vs Reality post. We've already talked about lock times, now let's talk about tasks.

You may want your keyholder to be evil to you and give you extremely hard tasks. That sounds nice in fantasy, but in reality, are you able to do those tasks?

You already know what the takeaway will be: be realistic.

We have loads of tasks that sound easy enough. But when you do them, you'll realize within the first few minutes that they're not as easy as they sounded when you first read them.

When you're done with the task, be sure to rate its difficulty realistically. Your keyholder can only use this information when assigning you your next task. If it was hard, don't say it was easy just to get a harder task next time. You might get a task you simply can't do, and the fun is ruined.

Dealing with tasks upfront is harder than chastity lock times because you don't know what the task you get will be. The task preferences questionnaire is vague on purpose, but the questions themselves are straightforward, so answer them as realistically as possible. Don't say you can do a hundred pushups when you can only do ten. You might actually get a hundred as a task, and then you won't be able to finish it. Don't say you have a certain equipment when you don't. You might get that task, and then what? You can't actually do the task, and you've wasted a day.

You can change your task preferences as many times as you like. Even multiple times during a session. If you don't feel like doing a certain task (you've just ran a marathon, and don't want to get a running task for the next week or so, for example), turn it off temporarily. While tasks are supposed to be challenging, they are also supposed to be fun.

Be sure to push your limits whenever you can, but don't overdo this. Be realistic. That way, your fantasy can become reality over time, and you won't have to abandon your dreams due to unrealistic expectations. Everything is possible, but you have to start right.

And always remember: this is a game, and you're doing it to have fun!
