Best practices for sending a proof image to your AI Keyholder

Your AI Keyholder will evaluate your task proof images in a slightly different way that a human keyholder would, so here are some tips on making sure your verification passes.

  1. Include the date. This is the same requirement as for all other proofs. The date needs to be included, and it needs to be written on a piece of paper. The date has to be correct, not a different date. Make it nice and readable. Just hiding it somewhere is not enough. Make sure it is prominently shown, preferably in your hand. While some format deviations are accepted, it's best to write the date as shown. Be extra careful when taking a mirror selfie: the date will be messed up! Stick it on the mirror in this case, not on yourself, so it shows up correctly.
  2. Include more than one image? While you can only send one image as proof, there's nothing stopping you from making that image a collage of two or three different images. This is especially useful when the task is something you need to do for a set amount of time. Three images in a collage can work wonders: one showing the beginning of the task, with a visible clock or timer, one showing the middle, and one showing the end. When making a collage of images, it's best to include the date in all the images.
    • It's easy to create a collage even on your phone. You can use something simple like Google Photos that is capable of creating one single collage image from multiple source images.
  3. Show all elements of the task. If the task is to use item A at location B, while holding item C, show everything in the image.
  4. Show the task itself. If the task is to do X with item Y, then make sure image shows you doing X with item Y. Not just a photo of item Y, without any action.
  5. When bulring for privacy, make enough of the image sharp. When bluring your face or surroundings, make sure enough of the image is left clear and sharp for the AI to be able to identify the task, and all its elements.
  6. Experiment with angles. Try taking a shot from different angles. Some angles can show way more from the task than others.
  7. Make sure everything is sharp. When photographing text that is relevant to the task, make sure it's sharp and readable. If you create a collage, make sure it remains readable. Use a different layout for the collage if it's not.
Be honest. It's not a competition. There's no prize to be won. It's your game. When evaluating proof images, an AI Keyholder can be deceived a lot easier than a human Keyholder. But... what's the point? Tasks are optional. Proofs are optional. Be honest.
